Tim Carpenter, age 59, of Rutherfordton, NC, died Friday, January 1, 2021, at Rutherford Regional Medical Center.

Tim was preceded in death by his father, Harvey Carpenter. He was a native of Rutherford County and worked in construction as a carpenter for many years. Tim is known, at the day care and by the grandchildren, as "Poppie".

He is survived by his wife: Gena Carpenter. Two Daughters: Skky Carpenter Dawn Carpenter

Two Sons: Clint Carpenter and his wife Shay Camden Carpenter

Mother: Nancy Hollifield

Two Sisters: Cathy Guffey Elizabeth Hardin

One Brother: Craig Carpenter

Three Grandchildren: Riley Carpenter, Maddie Carpenter, and Conlan Carpenter.

A memorial service may be planned for a future date.
