Wilda Smith Luckadoo, age 86, of the Green Creek Community, was reunited with her husband John and other loved ones, Sunday, July 13, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family.

A native of Polk County, Wilda was the daughter of the late Josephine Smith Liles. Wilda was a member of New Hope Methodist Church for many years. After attending Cecil College, Wilda was employed by Mohawk Industry until her retirement. She leaves behind her two beloved cats, and her precious dog Pearl.

In addition to her mother, Wilda was preceded in death by her husband, John F. Luckadoo, her aunt, Ernestine Smith Beheler, and her grandmother, Bessie Ridings Smith.

Survivors include, one daughter, Lynn Luckadoo West (Brad), one son, Rodney John Luckadoo (Angie), five grandchildren, Elena West Stroud (Dylan), Jenna West, Beth Schultz (Carl), Brooke Paarlberg (Jeff), and Breanna Luckadoo, five great-grandchildren, Zac Blake, Brie Schultz, Abigail Schultz, Harrison Paarlberg, and Hazel Paarlberg.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Thursday, July 17, 2025, at McMahan's Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at McMahan's Funeral Home Chapel at 12:00 PM, Thursday, July 17, 2025 with Reverend Debbie Toney officiating. Interment will follow at New Hope Methodist Church Cemetery. McMahan's Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
