William "Billy"  Upton, Jr., age 56, of Spindale, NC, passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

He was the son of the late William Upton Sr  and Patricia Womble. Billy was a native of Wayne County, North Carolina.

He loved to hunt, fish and be outdoors. His family would describe him as tough, stubborn, and funny. He was loved for his willingness to keep going, his work ethic, and independence. He loved his family, his cat "Little", and telling you what's best. He was his daughter's best friend and will be dearly missed.

One Daughter: Emily Upton and her fiancee David Dezio

One Sister: Lisa Michelle Burgin and her husband Stephen

One Brother: Scott Upton
