William E. Shehan, age 71, of Forest City, NC, died Friday, May 17, 2019, at Henderson Care Center in Forest City, NC.

He was the son of the late Raleigh Shehan and the late Bobbie Shehan, and was a native of Rutherford County. William was the widower of the late Brenda Kay Shehan and was a member of the Baptist Faith.

He is survived by

One Daughter: Cynthia Wright and her husband Edward, Danville, VA

Two Grandchildren William Wright and Kaylin Wright

The graveside service will be at Rutherfordton City Cemetery at 2:00 PM, Sunday, May 19, 2019 with Reverend Dr. Don Scofield officiating. The family will greet friends after the graveside service. Interment will be at Rutherfordton City Cemetery, Rutherfordton, NC. An online guest register is available at www.mcmahansfuneralhome.com.
