William "Bill" Raymond Cochran, age 72, of Forest City, NC died Wednesday, May 8, 2019, at Hospice House of the Carolina Foothills in Forest City, NC.

He was a native of Mecklenburg County the son of the late Raymond Joseph Cochran and the late Mamie Loretta Caldwell Cochran. William was a US Navy veteran. He loved to sing and was an Elvis impersonator. He loved to travel to different nursing homes and perform as Elvis for the residents. He was preceded in death by his wife Ola Mae Cochran, one son Kenneth Todd Cochran and one brother Richard Cochran.

One Sister: Nell Price

One Brother: Joe Cochran

Eleven Grandhildren and one Great-Grandchild

A memorial service will be at First Baptist Church of Rutherfordton, NC at 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 11, 2019 with Reverend Tim Marsh officiating. The family will greet friends as they leave the memorial  service. McMahan's Funeral Home & Cremation Services in charge of the arrangements.
