William A. Roberson, age 87, of Forest City, NC, died Monday, June 11, 2018, at Hospice House of Carolina Foothills. He was a native of Rutherford County and the son of the late John Bostic Roberson and the late Clara McDade Roberson. William was a US Army veteran of the Korean War and a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church where he was a former deacon and Sunday school teacher. He was preceded in death by his first wife Sue Flynn Roberson. He is survived by his wife: Lucille Henderson Roberson One Daughter: Susan Davis One Step-Daughter: Lisa Byers Harris One Step-Son: Adrian Byers Two Sisters: Mary Helen Sorrels Elizabeth Alexander Two Brothers: Charles Roberson Walter Roberson Five Grandchildren Six Great-Grandchildren The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at Holly Springs Baptist Church. The funeral service will be at Holly Springs Baptist Church at 3:00 PM, Wednesday, June 13, 2018 with Reverend Scott Moneyham officiating. Interment will be at Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
