William "Bill" Shehan, age 82, of Rutherfordton, died Friday, October 28, 2022, at Hospice House of the Carolina Foothills.

He was the son of the late Herman and  Myrtle Shehan. Bill was a native of Rutherford county. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Shirley Mae Duncan Shehan at her death they had been married 52 years.

He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Bill Graduated from the Blanton Business School. He was the owner of Camp Trucking and Shehan's Autosales. Bill loved to travel, loved his family and loved to work.

Survivors include;

One Daughter: Dewanna Campbell

Two Sons: Van Shehan and his wife Susan Kevin Shehan and his wife Lisa

One Brother: Phil Shehan and his wife Linda

Three Grandchildren: Kasey Shehan Sidney Campbell Kristin Shehan

Two Great-Grandchildren: Brinley Bailey Rylee Jones

Bill will lie in state for 30 minutes before the service. The funeral service will be at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at Spencer Baptist Church with Reverend Dr. Bruce Caldwell officiating. Interment will be at Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery, Memorials can be made to Spencer Baptist Church 187 N.
