William "Bill" Temple, age 84, of Rutherfordton, died Saturday, February 19, 2022, at Hospice House of the Carolina Foothills in Forest City.

He was the son of the late George and Mabel Temple. Bill was a native of Huron County Michigan. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy and worked as a mechanical engineer.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Charles Temple.

Survivors include his wife, Amy Temple, two daughters, Cheryl Mirabal, Becky Temple, six grandchildren, Amelia Mirabal, Rachel Spicer, Cristina Mirabal, Amanda Mirabal, John Stanbarger, and Jorge Mirabal.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at McMahan's Funeral Home. The funeral services will be at McMahan's Funeral Home Chapel Wednesday at 2:00 PM with Reverend Brandon Wood officiating.  Interment will be at Spindale City Cemetery with Military Honors provided by the Rutherford County Honor Guard.  A guest register is available at www.mcmahansfuneralhome.com.
