Betty Herrin Reynolds, age 92, of Forest City, NC, died Friday, February 28, 2020, at Henderson Care Center.
She was the daughter of the late Fred L. Herrin and the late Pearl Annie Adams Herrin. Betty was preceded in death by her step-mother Betsy Herrin. She was the widow of the late Clement "Clem" Reynolds and a native of Mecklenburg County. Betty was a former resident of Lake Lure and she was a member of Bat Cave Baptist Church and she was a member of WMU for 40 years. She loved mission work and was involved into her late 70's and she was also a part of the North Carolina Disaster Relief Team. Betty loved Jesus most of all. She also loved her family and friends. She adored being a mom, grandmomma and great-grandmomma.
She was also preceded in death by one sister; Doris Talbert.

Shirley Medlin of Kings Mountain, NC
One Brother:
Fred Herrin Jr. of Charlotte, NC
Three grandchildren:
Ryan Reynolds and his wife Michele, Matthew Reynolds and and his wife Jessica, Jackie Bridges III and fiance Angela Eaton and her son Lucas.
Four Great-grandchildren:
Kelcey and Grantt Bridges, Owyn and Talia Reynolds
and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Sunday, March 1, 2020 at Gilkey United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall. The Memorial service will be at Gilkey United Methodist Church at 3:00 PM, Sunday, March 1, 2020 with Reverend Jack Bridges and Reverend David MacEachern officiating.
