Bonita Whiteside Mosley

Bonita Whiteside Mosley, age 62, of Forest City, NC, passed away Sunday, October 17, 2021, at Rutherford Regional Medical Center.

She was the daughter of the late Emanuel and Betty Whiteside and she was a native of Columbus, OH. In addition to her parents, Bonita was preceded in death by one sister, Michelle Whiteside.  

Survivors include, two daughters, Yashica Hester (Willie), and Keisha Mosley(Alex Schlutow), three sons, Keyon Whiteside, William Mosley, and Justin Mosley, one sister, Cynthia Whiteside, five brothers, Emanuel Whiteside Jr., Desmond Whiteside, Darryl Whiteside, Jamyl Whiteside, and Romell Whiteside, and four grandchildren, Alexia Whiteside, Arianna Whiteside, Elijah Whiteside, Traisen Mosley, and Willie Hester III.

Bonita will lie-in-state from 9:00AM to 11:00AM Saturday, October 30, 2021 at McMahan's Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM, Saturday, October 30, 2021 at McMahan's Funeral Home.  The funeral service will be at McMahan's Funeral Home Chapel at 3:00 PM, Saturday, October 30, 2021 with Reverend Jessie Banner officiating. The family has requested masks be worn at all services. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation; Finance Department 30 East 33rd St. New York, NY  10016. Interment will be at Doggett Grove Cemetery, Forest City, NC. McMahan's Funeral Home & Cremation Services in charge of arrangements.
