Charles "Chuck" Stockton, age 73, of Union Mills, NC, died Thursday, January 13, 2011, at Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte, NC. Chuck was a U S Army veteran. He was the Rutherford County Swim team coach for 20 years. He worked for the Howard Harrill Company as a designer and helped with various stage productions. He helped and supported the MCJROTC at R S Central High School. He is survived by his wife; Myra Stockton. Two Sons: Michael Stockton, Fort Benning, GA Sean Stockton, Chapel Hill, NC Four Grand Children Memorial service will be at McMahan's Funeral Home Chapel at 3:00 PM, Saturday, January 22, 2011, family and friends officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the USO. McMahan's Funeral Home & Cremation Services in charge of arrangements.
