David Mack Phillips, age 48, of Cliffside, NC, died Saturday, May 21, 2011, at Rutherford Regional Medical Center. He was a native of Rutherford County and a member of Goodes Creek Baptist Church. Former employee of Parker-Hannifan and Robbins Brick. He was the son of Mack Phillips of Spindale and Lorene Street of Chesnee. He is also survived by his wife: Anita Thomason Phillips. Funeral service will be at Goode's Creek Baptist Church at 4:00 PM, Tuesday, May 24, 2011 with Dr. Cecil Lovelace, Rev. Danny McCain, Rev. Dwayne Scruggs officiating.
