Dr William C. Bowe DVM, age 73, of Rutherfordton, NC, died unexpectedly Friday, April 17, 2015, at his residence Dr Bowe was the son the of the late John F. Bowe and Mary Asterday Bowe. William was a graduate of the Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine. He was a life long resident of South Florida where he practiced veterinary medicine for over 30 years. The last 8 years of his practice he was owner of Village Square Vet Clinic of Boynton Beach, FL. He was very proud of achieving this life long dream. In 2006 he relocated to Western North Carolina to fullfill and enjoy his retirement. This allowed him to enjoy his hobbies of; bear hunting in the mountains of North Carolina and fishing in Lake James. He also attended Level at the Cross which he loved very much. William also loved touring on his Honda Goldwing and working on his beloved 1930 Model A Ford. He also just loved to enjoy the kingdom that he built, that he called home. Survivors include his loving wife of 26 years Whitney Bowe. Bowe's last wishes a private service was held on Sunday, July 26, 2015 where his ashes was scattered on Linville Mountain in Burke County, NC This was one of his favorite places to spend time over the past several years.
