Ervin Kesterson Obituary
.Ervin "Doc" Kesterson, age 89, of Rutherfordton, died Sunday, November 27, 2016, at Hospice House of Rutherford County.
He was a native of Polk County and the son of the late John Kesterson and the late Kittie Austin Kesterson. Doc was a member of Adaville Baptist Church and a U S Army WW II veteran serving in Infantry division. He was a member of the American Legion. He was an avid fisherman and wild life hunter. He was also preceded in death by 3 brothers and 3 sitster.
He is survived by his wife: Janet Bostic Kesterson.

Scott Bostic and his wife Sherrie of Ellenboro

Doris Rosier of Baltimore MD

Five Grandchildren: Amy Saad, Aaron Bostic, Allie Bostic, Brandy Hannon, Blake Bostic.
Four Great-Grandchildren Braeden Bostic, Madeline Saad, Brittain Saad, Tucker Splawn.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Thursday, December 1, 2016 at the church. The funeral service will be at Adaville Baptist Church at 2:00 PM, Thursday, December 1, 2016 with Reverend Jonathan Cobb officiating. Interment will be at Eternal Hills Memorial Park, Forest City, NC. Memorials may be made to Adaville Baptist Church; 805 Oakland Road; Spindale NC 28160 or Hospice of Rutherford County at P.O. Box 336 Forest City, NC 28043. McMahan's Funeral Home and Cremation Services in charge of the arrangements.
