Gail J. Skipper, age 72, of Greenville, SC, died Monday, January 4, 2016, at Magnolia Place in Greenville, SC. Gail was a native of Rutherford County and daughter of the late Robert Baxter and Mae Williams Jones. She was a registered nurse and worked in health care for many years. She was preceded in death by one brother Jerry Melton Jones. She is survived by one Daughter: Tracey S. Pires and her husband John Pires of Greenville, SC Two Sisters: Marion Shuster of Franklin, NC Jennifer Cook of Bath, NC Two Brothers: Steve Jones of Concord, NC Stanley Jones of Columbia, SC Four Grandchildren: John Robert Pires, Adrienne Pires, Catherine Pires and Jillian Pires. The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM, Thursday, January 7, 2016 at McMahan's Funeral Home. The Graveside service will be at Chimney Rock Baptist Church Cemetery at 2:30 PM, Thursday, January 7, 2016 with Reverend Dean Baughn officiating.
