Henry L. Sunderman II (Hank) of Rutherfordton, 75, passed away at his home on Sunday, November 8th.
Hank was born in August 1945 in Meridian, MS but soon moved to Cincinnati, OH, which became his hometown. He raised his family in Xenia, OH and retired in Rutherfordton, NC. He is survived by his beloved wife and best friend of 51 years, Vicki, three daughters and their spouses, Casi Gross (Brian) of New Tripoli PA, Michelle Sunderman (Brad Harrison) of Rutherford County NC, Nancy Hill (Chris) of Dayton OH, three beautiful granddaughters, Alexia Sowders, Alyssa Hill (Matthew Barrett) and Amelia Hill and many cherished friends.
Hank will be fondly remembered for his adventurous spirit (he traveled through all lower 48 states and Mexico) and for his many wonderful traits and skills, including his talents with woodworking and construction, his fondness of nature, his puzzling and Sudoku competencies and his lifetime love of dogs. He leaves behind both Gussie and Breer.
Hank’s family finds comfort knowing he is now with his Savior where he is forever healed and will have eternal joy.
