Charles Herbert "Hub" Hodge, age 87, of Rutherfordton, NC, died Monday, June 20, 2016, at his home. He was the son of the late William Roy Hodge and the late Lavada Jones Hodge. Hub was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by brother Archie Hodge and three sisters; Molena "Moe" Randall, Chloie Smawley and Viola Bland. He is survived by: Two Sisters: Rebecca McDaniel and her husband Ray of Hendersonville, NC Dianne Booth of Virginia Beach, VA Two Brothers: Howard Wilbur Hodge Sr. of Gastonia, NC Robert Wayne Hodge of Rehobotha Beach, DE A number of nieces and nephews The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM, Friday, June 24, 2016 prior to the service at West Point Baptist Church. The funeral service will be at West Point Baptist Church at 11:30 AM, Friday, June 24, 2016 with Reverend Lance Scarlett, Reverend Doug Kimsal and Reverend Ad Hopper officiating.
