Jeanette Bosgra

Jeanette Bosgra, age 61, of Rutherfordton, NC, passed away Saturday, April 2, 2022, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center, SC. Jeanette was preceded in death by her father, George Jacob Schuck, Jr.  She is survived by her mother, Jean Schuck.

As an active member of the community, she captained the Relay for Life of Rutherford County, NC, and served as a Stephen Minister. Jeanette was a member of First United Methodist Church in Rutherfordton, where at one time she taught preschool at the Tot Learning Center.  She was recruited to serve as Assistant Cub Scout Den Leader along with Ed, as the Den Leader. Some of Jeanette's favorite things to do were to walk on the rails for trails, work out at the gym, and shop for her grandchildren. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, sister, and friend to many, and she will be greatly missed.

In addition to her mother, Jeanette is also survived by her husband, Ed Bosgra, one daughter, Mandy Walker, and Matthew, of Spartanburg, SC, one son, Brett Bosgra, and Sarah of Spartanburg, SC, three brothers, George Kenneth Schuck, and Martha, Gordon Karl Schuck, and Carolee, and Gregory Lee Schuck, and Lisa, and two grandchildren, Weston, and Delaney Walker.

The memorial service will be held by the family at First United Methodist Church, in Rutherfordton, at 12:00PM Monday, April 4, 2022, with Reverend Dr. In-Yong Lee officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, Rutherfordton, 264 North Main St. Rutherfordton, NC 28139.
