Jeannie Keeter, age 69, of Stanley, NC , formerly of Rutherford County died Saturday, October 29, 2011, at Hospice House of Rutherford County. A native of Rutherford County, She was the daughter of the late Clyde William Keeter and the late Mary Keeter and was a member of Robertson Creek Free will Baptist Church. Surviving are: Five Sisters: Irene Toney, Forest City, NC Shirley Lancaster, Forest City, NC Ethel Harris, Morganton, NC Nancy Beck, Morganton, NC Elsie Suttles, Forest City, NC Two Brothers: John William Keeter, Morganton, NC Paul Bennie Keeter, Golden Valley, NC The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Monday, October 31, 2011. at Robertson Creek Freewill Baptist Church. A funeral service will be held at Robertson Creek Free Will Baptist Church at 12:00 PM, Monday, October 31, 2011 with the Revs. Darvey Hensley and Rev. Timmy Hodge. Interment will be at Robertson Creek Freewill Baptist Cemetery, Bostic, NC The family will be at the home of Ms. Keeter's sister, Irene Toney, 211 Lee Rd. in Forest City. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to a charity of the Donor's choice. McMahan's Funeral Home and Cremation Services is in charge of the arrangements.
