Jerry Lee Hardin

Jerry Lee Hardin, age 75, of Rutherfordton, died Friday, July 29, 2022, at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center Main in Charlotte, NC. 

He was the son of the late Therman R. Hardin and the late Mildred Mauney Hardin

Jerry was a native of Rutherford county and a U S Army veteran of the Vietnam War.  He liked to farm and raise cattle. He also played the piano. Jerry loved to make art. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Linda Faye Graves and his life long friend Leon Belue.  Jerry worked for 38 years as an O.R. Tech at Rutherford Hospital where he touched the hearts of everyone he worked with creating life long friendships that he cherished deeply. 

Survivors include: two sisters, Leslie Robertson and her husband Scott, and Lisa Hardin. 

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at McMahan's Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 11:00 AM Thursday, August 4, 2022 at McMahan's Funeral Home Chapel with  Reverend David Cole officiating. Interment will take place in Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery.
