John F Luckadoo

John F. Luckadoo, age 86, of Green Creek, passed away Tuesday, April 6, 2021, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center in Spartanburg, SC. 

He was the son of the late Cone and Mafrey Luckadoo and he was a native of Rutherford County. John was a member of New Hope United Methodist Church. He worked as a weaver trainer at Landrum Mills for 36 years. In addition to his parents John was preceded in death by two brothers, James Luckadoo and Wayne Luckadoo, and three sisters, Annie Mae Luckadoo Stacey, Ada Luckadoo McComas, and Mary Luckadoo Walker. 

John is survived by his loving wife of 62 years: Wilda Luckadoo. 
One Daughter: 
Lynn Luckadoo West and husband Brad, of Roanoke, VA

One Son: 
Rodney Luckadoo and wife Angie, of Green Creek, NC

One Sister: 
Shirley Luckadoo Wagner, Chicago, IL

One Brother: 
Charles (Pug) H. Luckadoo (Carolyn)  of  Rutherfordton, NC

Five grandchildren, Elena West, Jenna West, Breanna Luckadoo, Beth Schultz (Carl), and Brooke Paarlberg (Jeff), and five great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be at 1:00 P M Saturday, April 10, 2021 at McMahan's Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Debbie Toney and Reverend Carroll Flack officiating. 
The visitation will be from 12:00 P M to 12;45 PM prior to the service.
 Interment will be at New Hope United Methodist Church Cemetery.  Masks and social distancing are requested by all in attendance.
