Judith Carlon Byrd, age 56, of Forest City, NC, died Monday, October 25, 2010, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center in Spartanburg, SC. She was a native of Pottsville PA and was the head cook at the Carolina House in Forest City. She was the daughter of John and Marilyn Carlon of Aiken SC She is survived by her husband: Larry Byrd of Forest City One Daughter: Kori Byrd, Forest City, NC One Son: Troy Byrd, Forest City, One Grandchild One Brother: Gregory Carlon, Hendersonville, NC One Half-Brother John W. Carlon of Piscataway NJ A Memorial Service will be held at Morningstar Lake Baptist Church at 2:00 PM, Saturday, October 30, 2010 with the Rev. Marshall Dill officiating. McMahan's Funeral Home & Cremation Services handled arrangements.
