Lorena Richards Fowler, age 75, of Rutherfordton, NC, died Friday, February 5, 2016, at her home. She was the daughter of the late Helen Huntley Richards and a native of Rutherford County. She was the widow of the late Roy Lee Fowler Jr. and was preceded in death by a brother Michael Richards. Lorena was a Charter member of Fellowship Baptist Church. She is survived by One Daughter: Joy Fowler Smith and her husband Derek. One Son: Jeff L. Fowler and his wife Denise. One Brother: David Richards Four Grandchildren: Zack Fowler, Sierra Fowler, Savannah Smith and Noah Smith. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Monday, February 8, 2016 at Fellowship Baptist Church. The Memorial service will be at Fellowship Baptist Church at 2:00 PM, Monday, February 8, 2016 with Reverend Tom Runion officiating. Interment of the urn will be private.
