George F. Ware, age 84, of Rutherfordton died on Tuesday, June 4, 2013, at the Hospice House of Rutherford County. A native of Rutherford County he was the son of the late Lawrence and Daisy Ware. George had retired as a supervisor for Cone Mills Florence Plant and had also worked at Go-Forth Pest Control. He was a member of Mountain Creek Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a son Gary Ware and two brothers and two sisters. He is survived by his wife of 66 years Bernice Enloe Ware Daughter: Kathy W. Conner and husband Jack of Union Mills, Son Terry R. Ware Sr. and wife Sonja H. Ware of Gilkey Grandchildren Julie Champion, Mandy Brown, Buster Ware and TJ Ware II Twelve Great Grandchildren Sister: Novella Grayson of Rutherfordton, Two Brothers Boyce Ware of Spindale, Albert Ware of Martinsville, VA The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Friday, June 7, 2013 at Mountain Creek Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow in the church at 4:00 PM with Rev. Terry R. Ware Sr, Rev. Charles McClure and Rev. Rick Brewer. Burial will be in Gilkey United Methodist Church Cemetery.
