Barbara May Meehan, age 54, of Rutherfordton, NC, died Sunday, November 20, 2011, at her home. She was a native of Sweet Home Oregon and the daughter of the late Baxter and Dorothy Holdbridge Ferebee. She was the widower of the late Norman Meehan. She is survived by Two Daughters: Amanda Sims of Rutherfordton Jennifer Sims Tomblin of Spindale One Son: Ernest Sims Jr. of Rutherfordton One Sister: Virginia Kast, Kearneg, NE Two Brothers: Jim Ferebee of Oregon Mike Ferebee of Oregon Four Grand Children A memorial service will be held at 4 PM on Wednesday November 23, 2011 at McMahan's Funeral Chapel with the Rev. William Swink officiating. The family will receive friends from 3-4 PM prior to the service at McMahan's Funeral Home.
