Frances C. Sisk, 74, of Rutherfordton died Friday, October 12, 2012, at Willow Ridge Nursing Center. She was a native of Rutherford County and the daughter of the late Jack and Inez Carpenter. Frances was a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church and had worked at Burlington Industries in Caroleen. She was a very good mother and loved her children and liked to travel and loved people. She was preceded in death by brothers Jack and Paul D. Carpenter and a sister Ruth Bridges. She is survived by her husband: Don Sisk. A graveside service will be held at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery at 2:00 PM with Rev. Ron Setzer and Rev. Tim Frashier officiating.
