Jackie Cockrell Farmer, age 82, of Rutherfordton died on Tuesday, October 8, 2013, at Rutherford Regional Medical Center. A native of Nashville NC, she was the daughter of the late Sanford and Mary Cockrell. Jackie was a graduate of Radford University, a member of First Baptist Church in Rutherfordton and was also a homemaker. She was preceded in death by an infant son and a brother Sanford Cockrell Jr. She is survived by her husband Jerry Farmer. Two Daughters: Kay Harrill of Monroe, NC Sue Bruce and her husband Bill of Charlotte, NC Three Grandsons: Tyler, Clay and Evan Harrill Two Granddaughters: Katherine and Maggie Bruce Four Great Grandchildren A memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church of Rutherfordton at 11:00 AM, Thursday, October 10 with Rev.
