Mary Lou Rumfelt Jaynes, age 60, of Union Mills, died Friday, November 16, 2012, at Rutherford Regional Medical Center in Rutherfordton. A native of McDowell County She was the daughter of the late Edward Martin Rumfelt and was the widow of Paul Howard Jaynes Sr. Mary Lou was preceded in death by a son C.J. Jaynes. She was a homemaker. She is survived by Three Daughters: Tammy Cogdell of Rutherfordton Elizabeth Cate of Rutherfordton Jennifer Jaynes of Forest City, Three Sons: Jimmy Jaynes of Raleigh Paul H. Jaynes, Jr., of Woodruff, SC Michael Jaynes of Rutherfordton Two Stepsons Steve Jaynes of Ellenboro Joey Jaynes of West Virginia Mother-Myrtle Rhom Weeks of Rutherfordton One Sister: Ann Lyman of Stanley, NC Eight Grandchildren The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at McMahan's Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow in McMahan's Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 PM, Tuesday with Rev. Keith Cogdell and Rev. Linda Perrigan officiating.
