Myrtle Scoggins Pittman, 85 of Forest City died on Friday, October 26, 2012, at the Hospice House of Rutherford County. Myrtle was a native of Rutherford County and the daughter of the late Luther and Mildred Scoggins. She was the widow of Horace E. Pittman. Myrtle was a member of Gray's Creek Baptist Church was a member of the Senior Adult Ladies and sang in the church choir. She is survived by One Daughter: Kathy Spangler and husband Keith of Forest City The family will receive friends from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM, Sunday, October 28, 2012. at Gray's Creek Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow in the church at 3:00 PM with Rev. Alvin Allen and Rev. John Godfrey officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
