Paul Hamlin, age 80, died Friday, May 8, 2015, at the Hospice House of Rutherford County. He was the son of the late David Hamlin and Ida Glazener Hamlin In addition to his parents he was proceeded in death by his wife Marie King Hamlin and a sister Inez Davis. Survivors include: Three Daughters: Elizabeth Shafer and her husband Daniel of New Market, MD; Loretta Lynn Hamlin of Asheville; Linda Ballard of Asheville. Five Sons: Clarence Howard and his wife Marla of Forest City; Alvin E. Hamlin, Ricky A. Hamlin, Ashley Hamlin and Chris Hamlin all of Brevard, NC. Two Brothers: John Hamlin of Fountain Inn, SC and Jack Hamlin of Brevard, NC. Twelve Grandchildren Six Great-grandchildren Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM, Monday, May 11, 2015 at McMahan's Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bob Philbeck officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Monday, May 11, 2015 at McMahan's. Interment will be at Brittain Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
