Roger Dale Taylor, age 59, of Rutherfordton died Sunday, April 13, 2014, at Willow Ridge Rehabilitation & Living Center. A native of Rutherford County he was the son of the late Sam and Margie Taylor. Roger was an avid train and history buff and had worked at Aeroquip. He was a loving Christian and a friend to all. He was preceded in death by a sister Annette Fisher. He is survived by Three Sisters: Dorothy Scott of Gilkey Sandra Brock of Rutherfordton Donna Hudson of Cliffside Three Brothers: William T. Taylor of Gilkey, Sam Ezell Taylor, Jr. of Bostic Michael Ray Taylor of Morganton and a number of nieces and nephews The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Thursday, April 17, 2014 at McMahan's Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow in McMahan's Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 PM with Rev. Paul Nelon and Rev. Bill Alley officiating.
