From the family of Daniel Craig, we want to thank Jesse and her team at McMahan’s Funeral Home. You all did an amazing job from start to finish with the passing of our father. Jesse, John, and Steve, we can’t thank you enough for helping us through this process. It’s the smallest things Jesse did for us that meant a lot to our family. Including, beeping the horn as our father took his last ride up the road to the funeral home. That was special because that was something we all did after our visits with mom and dad. I had a unique situation in which my father Terry Vinson had been moved to Hospice and we knew his death would be soon. He already had a cemetery plot in SC, but he was moved close to me to Hospice in NC. McMahan's was super helpful in the funeral arrangements between here and his SC cemetery. In addition, I had an out of state trip planned and he passed on the day before I left. They expedited the arrangements for me and were very reassuring and knowledgeable especially on top of the pandemic concerns as well. I could not have been more pleased, and it made the loss of my father, and his funeral arrangements easier than anticipated. Highly recommend them.

This is our families funeral home since it's beginnings. They have always given excellent service. I would never consider going any where else. Pre-planning my mother's service with her guaranteed she had her wishes carried out. Losing our Mom was very difficult, but everyone at McMahan's helped to make a difficult time so much easier. My sisters and I had so many questions and Jesse McMahan answered them all. She was very compassionate, patient, and helpful. When we weren't sure about service plans, Jesse offered wonderful suggestions. We had so many photos that we wanted to display, and Jesse created a beautiful video using every single photo, set to Amazing Grace. Jesse honored all of our requests and we could not have been more pleased with how well everything turned out and was handled by McMahan's. Even though Steve was sick, he came to the hospital in Shelby almost immediately after our Mom passed away and took care of all the paperwork and transporting her body back. John and his Staff made sure that every single detail was not just handled, but handled beyond our expectations. Thank you all for everything.
