Jesse Elizabeth McMahan

Jesse is the daughter of John and Christie B. McMahan and the granddaughter of the late Frank and Charlotte S. McMahan, and the late Dan and Ramona Briscoe. Jesse graduated from John A. Gupton College of Mortuary Science, Nashville Tennessee, in December of 2018, with an Associate of Arts Degree in Funeral Service (embalming and funeral directing) and a cremation certificate. She successfully passed the National Funeral Service exam. Jesse also graduated from Western Carolina University, in December of 2017, with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management.

John is married to Christie Briscoe McMahan and both are Rutherford County Natives. John is a graduate of R-S Central High School and a 1983 graduate of Gupton Jones College of Mortuary Science in Atlanta. He is National Board Certified and licensed as a Funeral Director and Embalmer. He is the owner and president of McMahan's Funeral Home. John and Christie have three children, John III (Mackie), Jesse Elizabeth and Lydia Ramona. John resides in Rutherfordton and is a member of the First Baptist Church Rutherfordton. John is also a retired volunteer firefighter with the Rutherfordton Fire Department with 20 years of service.
